Arkansas Board of Nursing now requires CES Full, SSN

Arkansas State Board of Registered Nursing published a new NCLEX Application Form and Instructions for International Nursing graduates, with changes in education evaluation requirements and english proficiency exam.
So in effect, you must process CES Full with English Proficiency exam(Toefl, Ielts, etc.) first before submitting your NCLEX application. Also, they now require SSN disclosure. Bad news to foreign nurses who wishes to apply on Arkansas State Board and be licensed as US nurse.

sir, kelan po effective ang bagong requirement ng ARSBN? kasi nag aantay lang sana ako ng eligibility sa ARSBN, last 27th of August pa yung application ko sa kanila and until now wala ang eligibility. May chance pa kaya na mabigyan ako eligibility without the new requirements?

        based sa mga nasearched ko mas mabilis i guess and mas mura $150 ang payment sa texas nga lang u need to take the nursing jurisprudence exam of texas no fee for these exam included sya sa fee for endorsement. after you passed you’ll be issued a license. sa vermont naman mas mahal me evaluation pa kc sa mga credentials by IERF then it will be forwarded to the state of vermont mas matagal mas mahal pero no examination on nursing jurisprudence.

sir noy..i already have an eligibility, ATT & nclex exam schedule from the arsbn, will this new policy apply to my case? tapos, what happens after, if i pass the nclex? kailangan po bang mag submit ng mga kulang na requirements asap?

  You can go on with your exam. If they will require you to submit SSN, I dont know yet.

  No mention of photo requirement. SSN are for US citizens, legal aliens. CES is obtained from CGFNS or IERF

Gud pm po. I would just like to ask if affected ang pagrerenew ng Arkansas license? Kakakuha ko lang kasi ng AK license ko. Pag nagrenew po ba ako, kelangan ko na rin ng SSN?

1. What is the best state to endorse my CA pass letter? (Now that Arkansas have already changed their guidelines in applying for license)

2. How can I comply CEU for license renewal?

I think you can take the exam, yun nga lang when you pass you wont be issued a lic. parang sa california.
I think ang tinamaan ng malaki yung mga nagpa endorse na may pass letter from California na matagal nang nag hihintay 4-5mos tapos hindi makukuha lic nila.

Sir noy, ksi nagpasa ako ng application ko sa AR nung last week ng Aug, taz nareceive nla yung applic ko mga 1st week ng Sep at sumunod yung PRC doc ko pnadal ko nung Oct 1st week taz ngaun October 29 sinend ko document ko from School afected po kaya ako???

are you sure of this? Did you confirm it to Arkansas already? Iba kasi ang requirment pag graduate sa Philippines eh…yung natanggap ko na forms may nakalagay Philippines..Tapos iba ang requirement sa non-english speaking countries…How sure are you of this information sir?

yung nasa site kasi nila isa iba sa pinadala nila sa akin na forms… actually prinint ko dati yung nasa site nila to use it for application sana pero nung natanggap ko yung pinadala sakin magkaiba yung forms na printable sa NET. Actually, may nakalagay talaga na PHILIPPINES yung forms ko.Sana naman hindi totoo yan…Di pa din nagrereply si Calvina Sakin e..

  Maybe they had sent it to you before they changed the rules. I think we must abide sa new policy nalang to be safe. Yes, I contacted them a few days back and iba na ang sumasagot, hindi na si calvina.

Hello, I just sent ALL my application forms to Arkansas for NCLEX knowing that they do not require SSN. Hindi na po ba considered yung nagsubmit before the change in policy has been made? tnx po

sir noy, i endorsed my Cali Pass Letter to Arkansas kaso they emailed me telling that may application is incomplete and that it will be in inactive status ksi kulang daw ako ng SSN, sayang lang ang binayad ko ksi imposibleng magkaron ako ng SSN dahil and2 pako sa pinas. If ever na hindi ko na po ituloy ang endorsement ko, at iretain ko ung sa California, licensed pa rin po ba ako sa Cali, hindi po ba buburahin ng CaBON ang records ko? pasensya na po ksi naguguluhan ako sa mga new rules and policies ng mga Board of nursing. sana maka reply ka po agad and thank you very much.

They returned my application I sent first week of October. Walang cover letter pero kumpleto naman. Aabot pa ba ako ako magpadala sa Texas ng application ko. California will destroy my files by January 5. Nakakastress yung change of policies. Vermont requires CES di ba? So Texas na lang yung pinaka-pag-asa ko.

The change in processing internationally educated applicants for licensure has
changed due to enforcement of current statue. Once we became aware of such
statue, our attorney advised us that we must follow the law as written. The ASBN
Rules, Chapter 2, Section II G(1)(e) states “the applicant must present evidence
of credentials review that includes verification of the candidate’s education,
training, experience, and licensure with respect to the statutory and regulatory
requirements for the nursing profession, as well as oral and written competence
in English.” In addition to this requirement, you must have a social security
number before we can issue a license (ACA §17-1-104). We are working hard to
process the applications which have been received in accordance to the laws that
regulate our agency.

Sir ngsubmit ako ng application ko sa ARSBN, pero di inapprove due to the new memo,May nareceived akong letter sa kanila regarding that pero di na binalik ung mga requirements ko lalong lalo na ung pera na pinadala ko,,sayang naman ung pera ko kung d nila irerefund,ala naman nangyari sa application ko kinuha pa nila ung perang binayad ko.F#%!!.Gastos pako sa mga pagpapadala tska sa mga kunganu-anung s^%* na requirements ala din naman nangyari, tska pinasa ko un before ung bagong memo mga august na ata un, la man lng considerations.is there a chance na makuha ung binayad ko na check,your help regarding this is very much appreciated sir.thanks in advance.

  Yan nga ang problema, I dont understand bakit ganyan ginagawa ng Arkansas, while sa ibang states binabalik naman. I think you as applicants should complain sa Arkansas para kung marami ang complaints they might reconsider their decision.

Sir Noy! Good afternoon.

Sir, I got a letter from ARSBN last november informing me that I am now eligible to sign up for my NCLEX but if I pass, I will need a SSN to get my license.

I have to sign up with Pearson Vue now. My question sir is after I sign up with Pearson Vue, I will wait for my ATT to be emailed to me, right? Then how soon can I wait after getting my ATT before I schedule my exam?

I was informed that I have to register for my NCLEX before March 23, 2011.
