California NCLEX Result Endorsement to Arkansas
Update October 2010: Arkansas now requires CES Full report, English exam and SSN for foreign nursing graduates. Read the post and link.
California Endorsement to Arkansas
If you intend to endorse your California NCLEX result (because of SSN requirement) to Arkansas, here are the requirements that needs to be submitted:
1. Arkansas NCLEX Application and fee processing.
2. Fingerprint card, Criminal Background Check form and fee.
3. Verification of Licensure form.
4. Nursing Education Evaluation form.
5. Copy of Test Result(Candidate Report with photo) from California.
That’s it! Allow weeks of processing and Arkansas will issue your license.
Note: As you can see, we follow the same requirements of Arkansas NCLEX Application minus the Pearsonvue Registration (not the Arkansas Endorsement Application).

Thanks so much for this info, i’ve been researching ways on how to endorse my CA pass letter to any state for a month now and have been confused with most of the sites. Most were suggesting the Vermont route, I had no idea that it can be done through Arkansas.
Ask ko lang po, gano katagal baga makuha yung Arkansas license? permanent license na ba agad? ilang years yung validity? Magkano lahat total na gastos? Thanks po.

Carrie, ang importante dun e ang license number. It doesnt matter that much kung card o paper. Nag eexpire naman xa every 2 yrs, but renewable.

Nonoy, where can i download the application forms for my reciprocity to Arkansas? the Arkansas website asks for me to fill up an address b4 i can download the examination forms and the address ask for the state w/c is not applicable to me.

i think, ang problem sa arkansas license is that kelangan mo ng 15 contact hours or yung continuing education to renew your license…
san pa ba maganda magreciprocity ng cali license? any ideas? aside from vermont…

Almost all states require CEU sa renewal. Some even require 30 hrs, so 15 is easy to get.

For vermont, yes, you have to apply for CES. I suggest you apply online so that you will see after payment if you still have to re submit documents.

i’ve been reading your thread here and i’ve learned na hindi na po pla ok na i-endorse ang ca nclex results to arkansas…until now po ba hindi pa din need sa vermont ng ssn? i’m afraid they will also be needing ssn when i already submitted my reqts to them, waste of time and money po yun..how about ca to new york endorsement? and if yes, ano yng official website ng new york? sorry dami po tnong…

at saka may rumors po kasi na di na dw kailangan na yung verification of licensure/certification since wla nmn dw inissue na license from cali and ang kailangan lng daw yung test result or candidate report together with the photocopy of letter of passing? tama po ba yun? i hope you can enlighten us…..

I think the process is the same. You just send the form 3 to your initial state of licensure and let them forward it and the copy of test result (candidate report) to NY.

I recently passed nclex-rn but I can’t get my california license because i don’t have a ssn since im not a US citizen. I’m want to endorse my license to another state but i don’t know where. Aside from that i don’t know if i need to get a visascreen and/or take ielts since i don’t want to waste money if not necessary.
My choices are vermont, new mexico and arkansas. Can someone suggest other states preferably with no cgfns, ielts, ces or both if its possible, doesn’t require ssn and at the same time that state will give me a license? What are the requirements for endorsing to the states that anybody might suggest to me and how much will it cost me? My 3 years validity has already started so if anybody can suggest anything it will be highly appreciated.
