CGFNS revised its Certification Program(CP, with Exam), Credential Evaluation Service(CES) and Credential Verification Service(CVS, for NY) forms and handbook for 2010. Visascreen Application forms and handbook remains the same with its 2008 version.

These CGFNS Application forms are in pdf files, so it requires Adobe Reader.

CGFNS Services Fees: Plus $75 for Paper Application

CGFNS International will begin charging an additional US$75.00 for each paper application received after Friday, 16 July 2010. Applicants are encouraged to apply for CGFNS Services online.

Sir, i was given a 2008 application form for CES by the agency who is helping me process my CES application. what should I use? I went to the CGFNS website and found the new application form so I’m planning on using it instead of the form given to me. Is that a better way to do it?

hi sir, do u know which is better to take cgfns or nclex? and which state would u suggest?
i have read that cali doesnt allow u to take the exam w/o sss no. and for new mexico, u must have taken the ielts or tofel.

you dont need to take CGFNS if the state doesnt require it. andaming state to choose from, depende sa situation mo.

Most of the states dont require CGFNS exam, so you dont have to take it if not needed.

Goood day!! Sir I already took NCLEX and the state that I applied required CES prior to taking the exam. I would like to ask if ever I decide to take CGFNS do I need to comply again with the all of the requirements in order to take the CGFNS exam or will they consider the previous requirements that I have submitted for the CES??

Why would you take CGFNS exam? Depende van, but most of the time, no need na.

California requires SSN; if you dont have it, look for another state. Saipan doesnt require Phil license.

HI, I would just like to ask, kung kailangan ko pa kumuha ng IELTS? I will apply for a fiancee visa next year, ang plano ko sana is, kapag nakapunta nako sa florida and kapag nakuha ko na yung SS number ko, saka ako magNCLEX..Does that mean na hindi ko na kailangan mag IELTS?thank you.

Hi sir. I have a permanent resident visa sa utah and i’m planning to take the nclex sa california. gusto ko malaman if i still need to take the CP (cgfns) or not. and san ang exact location ng cgfns sa california? kasi magpapaendorse ako sa utah kung makapasa.

Gusto ko lng itanong tungkol sa CVS application ko po. Hindi pa kasi nila nareceived yung License Validation Form ko, yan nlng po ang kulang na document. Mag-si -6 months na ngayong December ang application ko. Pumunta po ako sa PRC sabi nila wala silang natatanggap na request from CGFNS. Ang pinagtataka ko po kung bakit nareceived ng CGFNs ang Licence Authorization Form at wala ang License Validation Form…

hi sir wud lyk to ask about my cp application. Im planning to take the march 2011 cgfns exam.. but i suddenly browsed on the webpage of cgfns and found out that it s going to be on a computer-based format already, and all including CP forms were changed… I have a problem on my request for validation of license… I already asked PRC to send it to CGFNS authority, is it okay that I used the old form for it?
Will there be no more paper and pencil test for cgfns?
Is it advisable to take the cgfns exam on the very 1st computer-based exam?

paper and pen test for CP will be phased out. all CP apps should be done online now.

You need CVS from CGFNS. no cgfns exam.

Hello Nurse Noynoy, I have already applied for CES report as the initial requirement of Vermont NCLEX exam. My next step is to go to PRC on monday then I will give them the form I printed from CGFNS. So, which service do you prefer the regular or express lane? how long will it take my application form to arrive to CGFNS if I used the express service? Thanks.

California doesnt require cgfns exam. Yes you must have US SSN to apply for license and take NCLEX.
