How to apply online for CGFNS CES Report in any state

The CGFNS International Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) analyzes the credentials of multiple types and levels of health care professionals who are educated outside of the United States and who wish to pursue licensure (by NCLEX) or academic admission in the United States.
There are two methods of CES Application, online and using downloadable paper forms. I’ll be discussing the online CES Application applicable in any US state.
Please take note that there are two types of CES report: Full and Healthcare Profession and Science Report. I suggest that you contact your state board of nursing (or read instructions) and ask what type report they require.
Here are the steps on doing the online CES Application, with screenshots:
1. Go to www.cgfns.org and click the CES link.
2. Go to the bottom left of the page and click ‘Create a New Account’.
3. Click ‘Login Now’.
4. Hardware and software requirements. Click ‘Next’.
5. Then it will direct you to login screen. Click ‘Create New Web User’.
6. Create New User. Fill up necessary details as shown below.
7. Account – Email Verification Page. You can click close and open your email.
8. Open your email and look for ‘Email Verification’ from CGFNS. Click the link on the message to verify your email, as shown below.
9. Page will be directed to CGFNS login. Login your CGFNS username and password. Next will be the welcome screen, as shown below. Click ‘Purchase services…’.
10. Click ‘Begin Selection Process’.
11. Fill in needed info then click ‘Save’. Tip: Items with asterisk (*) are required. Others without it are optional, you can ignore it.
12. CGFNS Services page. Mark ‘Credential Evaluation Service (CES) and click ‘Next’.
13. Recipient page. Answer correctly. In this post, I processed Vermont CES.
14. After choosing the state(in this case, Vermont) press ‘Submit’.
15. CES Report type. Choose the type of report your state board requires. I applied at Vermont, so I chose Health Profession and Science ($328). ‘Next’.
16. Fill in your mailing address and phone numbers. You can leave the alternate address blank.
17. Education Overview. Add your Primary (elementary) School by clicking the link.
18. Type details of your primary school. ‘Save’.
19. Add secondary/High school details by clicking the link. Fill in school details and click ‘Save’.
20. Add nursing school details by clicking ‘Add Professional School’.
21. When you’re done adding your education, click ‘Next’.
22. License Information page. Enter details of your nursing license. ‘Save’.
23. When you’re done with license information click ‘Next’.
24. Click all credentials you want CGFNS to evaluate and forward to state board, as shown below. ‘Next’.
25. CES Overview. ‘Next’.
26. Attestation page. Click ‘Yes’ and ‘Next’.
27. Order Summary. ‘Next’.
28. Document Printing. Print the ‘Academic Records Request- CES’. Fill up the upper part and have your school of nursing fill up the lower part.They will also attach with it your Transcript of Records and RLE summary and enclose it in school envelope for mailing. If they will give it back to you, mail it separately, from the city/town where your school is located.
Print the ‘License Verification Request-CES’. Fill up the upper part and bring it to PRC for completion. They will be the one to send it to CGFNS.
29. Application Review page. Click ‘Next’.
30. Payment Selection. I suggest you ‘Pay Online’ using credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
31. Credit Card Information. Enter correct card information and click ‘Make Payment’ just ONCE. When your payment is accepted your order is complete. When CGFNS receives your Academic records and License Verification from PRC, they will evaluate your credentials and issue your CES report to your recipient/state board in 1-2 months. They will also send you a copy of CES report. You can check your status by logging in at your account and clicking ‘Order Status’ link.

Hi sir!! It’s me again.. I’m confused po dun sa CES pa rin. KAsi meron part dun asking kung what credentials ang gusto ko maevaluate and sabi ask ung recipient ko whhich is Vermont pero baka matagalan pag sa kanila ako tanong.
1.)pag sa Vermont po ba what docu ang papaevaluate? I’ll be using this CES for my Endorsement application sa Vermont. UNg health science report po kasi includes 2 licenses and 2 transcripts daw.
2.) Kasama po ba secondary education?
2.) may 3 schools po ako pinasukan nung college lahat po ba un magsesend ako nung mga pinapaprint na forms?
3.)or ung related lang po ba sa nursing studies ko ang include ko?
4.)or ung school lang kung san ako naggraduate ng nursing? Ung ibang subjects ko po kasi sa isang school ko nakuha?

If you purchase just the HP/S, then yung nursing education lang at license, no need na ang ibang schools and subjects na d related.

hi nurse nonoy. i’m just worried about application to CES. i dont have credit card. is it possible that i could just pay them in cash? it says in http://www.cgfns.org that i should pay via credit card since i’ll be fixing my CES online. thanks Ü

Yes, credit card or bank draft pwede, but not cash.

hi nurse nonoy. last ques. it says in http://www.cgfns.org that The Certification Program has three parts:
firstly, CGFNS International reviews your credentials to determine if your education, registration, and licensing will qualify you to work in the United States as a registered nurse.
then secondly,International gives a Qualifying Exam to test your nursing knowledge.
-does it mean that there’s a CGFNS exam too even in a state where in they only ask for CES?

CES is different from CP. yung CP lang ang may exam.

naguguluhan na po ako sa application ko.nag pass na po ako ng application, nag pass na din po ako ng finger print card,nkpagpass na din po ako ng requiremnts para sa ces ko including the fee.nagbyad ako ng application fee $88,tumawag po ako sa cts natanggap na daw nila payment ko.magbabayad po na muna ng $200 bgo mgakaelligibilty?sino po ba ang pdedeng pagtanungan kung elligible na ako.

Did you do your CES online? Check your account if the report was issued to CTS. If yes, you can register sa pearsonvue for ATT issuance.

hey guys!
i already sent my requirements for CES through FEDEX. tapos pag check ko sa fedex.com na deliver na daw.. pro sa CES ACCOUNT ko sa CGFNS.com ung naka lagay sa ORDER STATUS ko ay WAITING FOR REQUIREMENTS pa rin…
sino ung pwede ko tawagan nito? CGFNS or fedex?

hi sir good day i just processed my ces online and i printed both the License Validation Request which i gave to PRC and Academic Records Request to my college i would like to ask po sir kung ano ang next step because i recieved an email that the CGFNS CES requires:
a. Validation(s) of your original and current international registration/license as a registered nurse from the issuing authority(s)–done
b. Full academic records/transcripts of all healthcare degree/diploma programs completed outside of the U.S.
c. A completed “Request for Academic Records” form-for nurses only–done
d. Documentation of your secondary school (high school) education
sa naintindihan ko po nagawa ko na ang letter a and c am i correct?
sir pahabol na tanong kailangan ko po bang mag lagay ng signature sa both forms nakalimutan ko kasi mag sign sa form na ibinigay ko sa prc.

saan school po sir yung college or high school sa pagkaintindi ko yung college ko na po ang magse-send ng TOR, COURSE DESCRIPTION, CES FORM, at RLE summary? correct? sir kailangan pa ng college diploma?
nagulohan po ako sa high school requirement kasi may diploma na ako from my hig school do i have to photocopy this and send it to cgfns? or yung high school registrar na ang magsend ano po ba ang mga requirements na kailangan my secondary school? sir thank you po talaga for helping. 
and nalagyan ko na po ng signature yung form na pinasa ko sa prc.

yes school na ang magsend ng college docs. if theyll return it to you, you can mail it separately. sometimes hs diploma is waived, that’s why i suggest you apply and pay online para malaman mo in order status kung waived ito.

gud day po sir ang sabi po ng college ko yung tor at rle summary lang daw ang kailangan sa envelope. tapos ako daw ang magse-send. Requirement Waived po ang nakalagay sa order status ko and about sa hs diploma sa pagkaintindi ko po ay itong requirement was not necessary, pero may natanggap akong email galing sa cgfns na ang CGFNS CES requires:
- Documentation of your secondary school (high school) education
so kailangan ko pa i-send yung hs diploma ko? thank you po talaga for helping sir.

sir kanino po ba pede maginquire about sa nclex pass letter with pearson vue photo? kasi po nagrequest ako sa CALI BON til now wala pa sila pinadala.. Reqt po kasi un sa reciprocity sa Vermont di o tuloy macomplete reqts..thanks po…
