Here’s the latest update about Vermont NCLEX application posted at vtprofessionals.org:

As of July 1, 2009 allnew International Applicants are required to obtain a Credentials Evaluation Service Report from either of the following companies:

PLEASE NOTE: Applications postmarked ON or AFTER July 1, 2009 will be returned if they are not on the current application form (posted July 1, 2009). If your application was received or postmarked PRIOR to July 1, 2009, you do NOT need to go through one of these agencies; your application will be processed according to the review policies in place prior to July 1, 2009.

Vermont NCLEX License Inactive Status

Vermont Nurse NCLEX License Renewal is biennial, and will be due this March 31, 2011. But instead of renewing your license, Vermont Board of Nursing gives you the option of putting it in an Inactive status if you are not practicing or do not intend to practice nursing in Vermont. This is especially good provision for international nurses who are licensed in Vermont but not physically present to practice there, for it saves $90 of renewal fee every odd year.

CES doesn’t need your nclex result, just the license verification from PRC. Pero Vermont needs your NCLEX result from california.

Kuya noy, do i still need to pay the amount for CES if I am CGFNS passer? Bali instruct ko lang and CGFNS to do the Vermont-Specific CES, forward na nila yun dba? no need to sent again all the papers for CES.

If you have CGFNS certificate, then you can forward it to vermont. You dont have to process CES.

visa screen requirements as far as i know…:
1.) passed nclex/CGFNS exam
2.) IELTS
3.) all the school stuff and prc stuff
correct me if i’m wrong. =)
you can only have the SSN when you get to the U.S.. you need to file/apply for it personally when you get there.

Wait for the CES report to be mailed by CGFNS to Vermont. Then you can apply sa Vermont.

Nurse Noy, just received a notification from CGFNS through my email that our CES report was already issued to Vermont. When will we send our papers to Vermont? We’ll send it now or we’ll wait for a week or so until Vermont receives our CES?

nurse noy, i will pay my $150 application fee but I don’t know anyone who has a dollar account in my family that could make a bank draft. is it possible a money order from Western Union will be okay? Can you explain what my other options are for payment?

im taking the nclex in vermont and i need a ces report. which s better to use? cgfns evaluation or the ierf? just in case, i use cgfns? do i still need to take ielts exam before they can evaluate my papers? and what kind of evaluation do i need? the full course or the other one? thanks a lot! im just really kinda confused with their requirements.

I suggest CGFNS. No need for IELTS. Just take the HPS, it’s cheaper.

You mean you have SSN and you’re licensed in Cali? If yes, they require CGFNS certificate.

my nclex is near its expiration date so I would like to endorse it to Vermont. In the process, a Vermont-specific CES is required. I already have a Visa Screen Certificate which was issued last 2009. Can I just forward my Certificate or do I need to re-apply for the Vermont Specific CES. Thanks!:)

Hello there. I already passed the NCLEX for the state of Vermont last month. And I already took the IELTS. I’m planning to apply for visa screen. I looked at the CGFNS website. I was surprised to see that CES is needed. Will CGFNS honor the CES that I got from IERF, which I paid for during my Vermont application? Or do I need to go through another application and pay again?

Sir noy, i hve read about updates on nclex endorsement from ca to vermont.. it says there we need to request cali to forward certified true copy of results w/photo to vermont. Then I’ve also seen the updated NCLEX application by exam/endorsement for international nurses.. Sir which page is for verification of edu. form? & which one is for verification of licensure form?
I found out that CES requires academic records & validation of license. And there is a form for that which i’ve seen in CGFNS website & this needs to be sent to PRC to get CES. I wonder if these forms are just desame with wat they referred to as verification of education & verification of license.. Hope to get ur reply sir. Thanks
