Vermont BON NCLEX Application Update!

Update July 1, 2009: CES requirement is now required for new applicants starting July 1, 2009, and NEW application form must be used. Disregard this post.
Starting 01 October 2008, all incoming nurse-applicants of Vermont Board of Nursing will submit the revised Application Form posted in their website, www.vtprofessionals.org.
As of October 1st, all incoming applications must be the current application form and verification of education form. All new requirements apply to applications received October 1st and after.
Aside from the Verification of Education (2 pages), the new form added the Verification of Licensure form to be submitted by the applicant to PRC, then the PRC will fill up the form and certify your license (or if you dont have the license yet, the board exam passing letter). You can now include these forms with your application in mailing, provided these are in separate sealed envelope from PRC. Same with your Verification of Education forms, TOR , RLE summary and detailed Course descriptions. In short, you can now have one mailing packet for all documents and payment, as long as the PRC forms and docs are in one sealed envelope, and the School forms and docs are in another one sealed envelope.
As much as Im giving you tips here, it would do you well if you read the detailed instructions and checklist in the downloadable Vermont Application form packet, here. Again these changes are applicable to all incoming applications starting October 1, 2008.

Nurse Noynoy, is it True that Vermont stopped accepting applicants for NCLEX? Sad, because I am almost done with my requirements. How do I confirm this rumor?
Also, I went to PRC to ask for a certification that my license is on a good standing status. The PRC officer didn’t took my printed form from Vermont.Do I need to go back and give the form, or just wait for the date of claiming of the certification and possibly give the form at the same time? My worry is that they might ask me to go back again, too tasky since Im travelling from Pampanga. Thanks you in advance for the inputs.

gud eve sir noy..paano po icorrect yung name ko kc nareceive ko na ATT ko last week pero ang nakalagay is Francis S. Khayad instead of Francis S. Khayad Jr..now kinontact ko na asia pacific pero sabi nila contact ko ncsbn.. check on ncsbn pero wala naman akong makitang correction..cnu poh pwedeng makontact with regards to this sir?..any tel nos or email add..vermont po ako naka-apply .

yes sir walang Jr..di kaya nila question yun? all of my documents pati passport ko is wid Jr yung lang sa ATT sir..if ever ok lang sir ano po next gawin ko para maka sched na ako for exam kc until march lang po yung validity ng ATT sir…thanks a lot and more power to you sir…^_^

hi, diba sa vermont ul be recieving a card..once u send it at nakuha nila yun, yung 3 months mo e maguumpisa na..kasi within 3 months lang ang binibigay ng vermont for the applicant to take the exam, rt?… may idea ka ba kng applicable pa yung card ko na yun kng ngyn ko lang papadala. yung card ko e nung 2007 pa. but i emailed vermont before and askd if there is an expiration sabi nila wala naman daw. so i was wonderng kng pwede pa yun…btw retake bale ako. i was supposed to retake nung 2007 kaya lang di ko na naituloy pero nakuha ko na yung card nila…bale isesend ko na lang yun ulit. (di ko sinend kasi pag nakuha nila tatakbo na yung 3 months rt?) kasi yung unang take ko ganun nangyari.hehe..hope u cud help me..fyi, i emaild vermont nung 2007 rin..hehe thnx

I suggest you have to contact vermont, kasi 2 years lang ang validity ng eligibility, baka lapsed ka na. D na kailangan ang card ngayon, you can just email the details to vermont.

sir im leaving by a month or 2 ask ko lng po kung pano po b mga requirements s nevada,,does it require CES muna bago ung application ng nclex? ask ko din po if renewable license s nevada tnx po.

ask po ako regarding s validity ng eligibility in nclex rn sa California. nagprocess po ako ng registration last year december, nrecieve ng BON early january 2010, kaya lng po nasend back skin kc kulang ng phone number.tpos naka-indicate lng po s letter nla n i-complete ang form at ipadala ulit s knla. ang prob ko po ay kaka-expire lng ng eligibility ko nung jan31, mprocess pa po kaya papers ko for registration kung i-send back ko ung forms s knla kc february n ngayon.thanks po

my application requirements were complete nov 2,2009 and sent my details to vermont same day. the nex day i was approved to take the exam. feb 3 i took the test, feb 11 i got my vermont license.

Can I process my eligibility even that i haven’t take any english exam yet,sa ILLINOIS STATE kasi yung pag aaplayan ko.How long it takes to process for eligibility?please im worried and confused…hope you can reply with my concerns thanks!!!
